Energetic and ingenious Vanessa De Vargas is an L.A.-based furniture designer and interior decorator, specializing in the restoration of heirloom and vintage furniture pieces. Her exquisite Venice Beach design label and interior design firm, Turquoise, is a reflection of the chic innovation that makes her work so unique within the market. She sells beautifully restored antiques; revamped for the modern client.
11:45am-1:00pm Reinterpretations: A Sign of the Times by Jan Peterschick, Regional Manager with INVISTA
Jan Peterschick joined DuPont Textiles & Interiors, now INVISTA, in June 2001. In her current position as West Regional Manager, she is responsible for managing a team of Fiber Consultants in the Western US. She's held previous positions with the company as Territory Manager and Field Development Manager.
Jan has been in the flooring industry for 15 + years, working with residential and commercial flooring dealers, Architects and Designers and End-Users to specify the right product for the application. Her background is in sales and merchandising, with a degree from Nettleton College.
Jan lives in a suburb on Minneapolis, is married with 3 children and 3 beautiful granddaughters.
She enjoys shopping, decorating, reading and spending time with my family.
